In light of the projected high-density development of Arden Macaulay industrial precinct, the Arden Spine offers a community-driven solution to the densification of a neighbourhood through a series of multi-purpose towers. Retaining the identity of the neighbourhood takes a high priority through the renovation of existing industrial buildings to address some of the water issues faced by current and future residents. Stormwater runoff is collected and treated to serve Arden food industry in the form of vertical farming towers constructed on renovated industrial buildings as their base level.
